Brownies! Who doesn't like them? I love brownies. Let me share you my recipe for chewy and moist cocoa brownies. This is a good treat for any occasion.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 2/3 cups granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup cocoa
- ¾ cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter or margarine, melted
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- ¾ cup chopped nuts (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350º F. Grease a 12x11-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, combine the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine the granulated sugar, butter, water and glucose.
- Pour the sugar mixture into the dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in half of the nuts.
- Spread the mixture into the greased baking pan. Sprinkle the remaining half of the nuts on top of the mixture.
- Bake for 18-25 minutes until wooden pick inserted in center comes out slightly sticky.
- When done, let it cool. Cut into bars.
Enjoy!
