Summer Themed Cake Tower

     I made this cake tower about a year ago for me nephew's 1st birthday. The theme of the party was Hawaiian/beach party.After looking for some ideas online, I came up with this design.

     

     I made the top cake with some corals and other under the plants and the cupcakes are made with 2 different designs. In the first two tiers of the tower, I designed the cupcakes with some gummy candies that will serve as the mats and I placed some seashells and topped them with those tiny umbrellas.

     The last 2 tiers of cupcakes are designed like seashore. I thinly iced half of the cupcake with white boiled icing and poured ground grahams and cookies. Then I iced the other side of the cupcake with blue, making some peaks looking like the waves of the water. I added gum paste seashells on top of them.
